For AMCA A applications wheel is made of non-ferous material with monel shaft and special x-proof motor.

Canada Blower's PowerMate Propeller Fans are available with either 3, 4, 6, 9 or 12 blades setto any of predetermined pitch settings. Propeller Fan blade designs have been reproduced by the precision molding process using engineering grade resins.

Canada Blower Propeller Fans exceptional performance is the result of superior airfoil blade technology combined with the advanced production technology. Efficient design requires a uniform air flow along the entire blade surface from tip to root even though the blade tip travels faster than root. To compensate for these lower root speeds, not only must the pitch angle of the blade be increased, the "lift" characteristic must be increased by enlarging the airfoil cross-section. Canada Blower's airfoil propeller is based on this precise combination of effective pitch angle and NACA airfoil section, continuously changeing shape from tip to root. As a result, uniform air flow is generated along the fan blade, producing higher fan efficiencies above 70%.

Fans for pressurization are usually used to keep the space from allowing any air to leak into the surrounding space. This is often desirable in computer or control rooms in chemical or dirty environments. If personnel are to be present in the pressurized space, the air must be filtered and climate controlled before supplying the air into the surrounding space. Fans are normally supplied with variable-speed controls to idle the pressurization down to a preset level during times when the room is not occupied by personnel.
